Infants 6 weeks-18 mos
We offer affordable child care options for infants as young as 6 weeks of age. Our qualified and nurturing caregivers create a secure and trustworthy environment for your baby. Our low staff to infant ratio allows plenty of time for one-on-one cuddling, reading, singing, simple sign language and other activities, to stimulate your infant as he or she begins to explore the world. We include our infants in the themes for the week and the month, but know and understand that infants learn and explore at their own pace.
Toddlers 19-35 mos
Our affordable care is perfect for active toddlers, offering age appropriate activities to let curious toddlers explore while building skills and coordination. We believe children learn through discovery and exploration. Our low staff to toddler ratio encourages independence, language and social/emotional development, while providing plenty of hands-on attention.
Preschool/Pre-kinder
At this age, children begin to complete small tasks on their own, as well as taking on larger things like making decisions and questioning the world around them. At Shooting Stars Child Development Center we provide your child with exploration, experimentation and conversations to answer those questions. With our challenging and fun curriculum (Preschool Palace, your child will be ready with the skills to transition to and master Kindergarten. Our classes include: hands-on themed activities; an environment where children learn to explore and problem solve; observation-based assessments; and teacher and family communication. Before a child begins Kindergarten they need opportunities for learning, relationship building and experiences to build self-esteem. Our program provides high quality early care and education to children ages 3-5 to help them enter school ready to learn.
